Provision of personal data to third parties – processors

We may provide the information you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

    1. the secure storage and processing of data in the Cloud (through a Cloud Service Provider);
    2. to maintain our website (www.artoffaithfestival.be).

We make the necessary agreements with external service providers (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data. We never pass on personal data to external service providers (processors) with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement.

Provision to third parties – recipients

We share personal data with the following external parties:

    1. insurance agencies, if you are involved in the organization
    2. payment processor: Mollie (see Mollie privacy statement: https://www.mollie.com/en/privacy).

We make the necessary agreements with these parties to guarantee the security of your personal data and the confidential treatment of your data. Furthermore, we will not pass on the information you provide to other third parties, unless this is legally required and permitted (an example of this is that the police requests (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case, we must cooperate and are therefore obliged to provide this information).

At no time do we sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We also never pass on your contact details to third parties for commercial purposes. HIA does not store personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was provided, with due observance of the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (for example to be able to do the accounting).

Retention periods may, however, differ per purpose. HIA agrees not to keep the data for longer than a maximum of 5 years after the last use.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to inspect and copy the personal data relating to you.

You have the right to correction and supplementation if your data is incorrect or incomplete. You have the right to erasure (deletion) of the personal data that we have received from you, and which is no longer strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were provided. We do reserve the right to determine whether your request is justified.

You have the right to restriction of data processing: if you object to the processing of certain data, you can ask to stop this processing.

You can also object (oppose) to the way in which some of your personal data is processed. For example, you have the right to object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (through unsubscribing options in e-mails).
