Xamen was formed in 2005 as a music group within a Christian youth movement. What began with simple songs of reflection grew into a band that provides musical accompaniment for Eucharistic celebrations, liturgical moments and festivals. With their own songs that explore both faith and doubt, Xamen wants to show that faith is alive and well and can touch people.
Over the years, the line-up has changed, but today Xamen is a permanent trio that performs regularly, including at the Jeshua Festival, Festicert and in the Netherlands. Their first CD, SEE/SEA, refers to the love of Jesus, which is as wide and deep as the sea, and invites us to consciously see that love.
Xamen brings music that testifies to a living God who is near and brings salvation — an invitation to sing, celebrate and believe together.
