Terms and conditions

General

1.01. These terms and conditions set out the terms under which you can purchase tickets for and participate in the Art of Faith Festival. Participation in the Art of Faith Festival is only permitted after accepting these general terms and conditions. Anyone who does not agree to these general terms and conditions will not be able to participate in the festival.

1.02. Anyone purchasing tickets for other persons also confirms that they are authorized to do so and that all parties involved agree to these general terms and conditions.

1.03. Participants must comply with the regulations and the organization’s instructions at all times.

1.04. The organization cannot be held liable for damage and/or bodily injury, whether caused by third parties or not.

1.05. It is prohibited to make audio or video recordings of performances or other program components without prior permission. The use of drones without prior permission is also prohibited. Equipment may be confiscated.

1.06. All festival participants consent to being photographed or filmed as part of the festival’s “audience,” without payment. They also agree that these images may be used by the organization for any purpose. Anyone attending the festival with a minor also gives explicit consent on behalf of that minor.

1.07. In the event of emergencies, participants are required to follow the organization’s instructions.

1.08. In the event of misconduct and after receiving a warning from the organization, the organization reserves the right to remove the participant from the festival grounds. This participant’s wristband will be confiscated. In the event of gross misconduct, the organization reserves the right to do so without prior notice. In such cases, the organization is never obligated to refund admission fees or food and beverage vouchers.

1.09. Any damage caused by a festival participant will be recovered from the person involved.

1.10. The organizers are not responsible for the quality or condition of products provided or sold by third parties at the festival. All complaints or requests regarding this matter should be addressed directly to the third party in question.

1.11. Prolonged exposure to loud noise can cause hearing damage. We strongly recommend hearing protection. Stroboscopic effects may be used at the festival.

1.12. In light of a pandemic, the organizers may have to impose additional requirements on each festival participant in order to comply with national and local guidelines or recommendations.

Tickets and access to the festival

2.01. The organization uses different ticket prices based on the ticket type, target group, and time of purchase. The organization reserves the right to add new ticket types and target groups at any time and to adjust the corresponding rate.

2.02. Tickets must always be paid for upon ordering. Unpaid tickets are considered unpurchased tickets.

2.03. Everyone needs a ticket, including children (regardless of age).

2.04. Purchased tickets will always be sent exclusively to the email address provided during the purchase process. This is to prevent fraud.

2.05. Group tickets are only available to existing (youth) groups who wish to experience the festival together. The only exception to this is made for ambassadors. They can also start a group. The person who purchases the group tickets is considered the group leader and is the only person with whom the organization will communicate about the group. The group leader also guarantees that they have the authority to act on behalf of the group, and that each person in the group agrees to these terms and conditions. Group tickets may not be offered or promoted to people outside the group. The organization reserves the right to determine whether a group is eligible for a group ticket. In the event of improper use of group ticket formulas, the organization reserves the right to cancel any purchased group tickets. It is not permitted to charge group members a higher rate than the applicable ticket price for the group.

2.06. The festival grounds can only be entered by persons with a valid wristband.

2.07. Minors may only be at the festival and/or camp site if they are accompanied by a responsible adult on the grounds. The organizers reserve the right to request proof of age at any time during the festival. Minors are always the responsibility of the accompanying adult.

2.08. Reserved or purchased tickets cannot be cancelled. Refunds for tickets already purchased are therefore never possible.

2.09. The organizers reserve the right to immediately remove anyone without a valid wristband from the festival grounds. Areas on the festival grounds that are not accessible to participants are clearly marked. The organizers reserve the right to remove anyone unlawfully present in these areas from the entire festival grounds and to confiscate the wristband of the person in question. In such cases, the organizer is never obligated to refund entrance fees or food and beverage vouchers.

2.10. Dogs and/or other animals are not permitted at the festival, with the exception of assistance dogs.

2.11. The organizer reserves the right to search persons, luggage, or vehicles for security reasons. We reserve the right to confiscate anything prohibited under these terms and conditions.

2.12. The organizer is not obligated to partially or fully refund entrance tickets if the event cannot take place or cannot take place in full.

2.13. The organizer may be forced to change the program. In that case, entrance tickets remain valid, and under no circumstances can a refund or exchange be claimed for them

2.14. If you lose your wristband, a new one cannot be obtained under any circumstances. Entry to the festival grounds is only permitted after purchasing a new ticket at the ticket offices at the festival entrance, at the applicable rates.

2.15. The organizers reserve the right to deny access to any person without providing a reason. If the person in question held a paid festival ticket, the price of the festival ticket will be refunded.

2.16. The festival grounds (including the campsite) are only accessible during the hours stated on the festival website.

Code of Conduct

3.01. The festival is drug-free. Excessive alcohol consumption is also prohibited.

3.10. The organization attaches great importance to Christian ecumenism during the festival. Unity in Christ transcends the significant differences between Christian churches. In this spirit, every participant is expected to show great respect for the individuality of other denominations. The organization reserves the right to exclude from the festival any person or organization that does not sufficiently respect this diversity.

In such cases, the organizers are never obligated to refund entrance fees or food and beverage vouchers.

4.07. Each camper must pitch their tent in such a way that there is sufficient space for the other campers.

4.08. Waste may only be left in the designated areas. Waste that does not fit in a garbage bag may not be left behind under any circumstances. This is considered illegal dumping and will be reported to the police.

4.09. Campers must comply with the regulations and the organizers’ instructions at all times.

4.10. There is no electricity available on the campsite (or on the festival grounds). Available power points are for the organizers’ use and may not be used by festival participants under any circumstances.

Cancellation, changes and refunds

5.02. The festival may be cancelled or postponed under certain circumstances. In the event of a cancellation for reasons other than force majeure, the organizers have the option to (1) exchange the ticket for a ticket for a later festival or event, (2) request a refund, or (3) donate the ticket price to the non-profit organization behind the festival. Refunds must be requested no later than 5 days after the original festival date via info@artoffaithfestival.be. Such refunds never include service fees or other additional costs. In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, the organizers are not obligated to refund tickets.
