JAY is a Christian artist from Delft (NL) known for his fresh blend of Afrobeat, Dancehall, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, Trap, and R&B with well-known Christian songs. Making music has been in his blood since a young age. He started drumming, beatboxing, and later producing. In his teens, he performed as a DJ and producer under the name AFRO, but after a clear calling, he chose to fully dedicate his talent to Jesus.

With creative remixes of Christian children’s songs, JAY broke through on TikTok and Instagram. Videos like “Is je deur nog op slot” “Jona” and “Lees je Bijbel, bid elke dag” went viral and made him a recognizable name in modern Christian music. JAY has performed at the EO Youth Day in Ahoy and at the Opwekking festival, where he is known for his energy and his desire to create space for what God wants to do.

JAY lives by Psalm 34:3: “Praise the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” From this passion he works on an innovative sound within Christian music and he wants to inspire others to use their talents for God’s Kingdom.
